Smithfield Horse Fair shootings: Man remanded
A 21-year-old man has been refused bail after he was charged with possessing a revolver at Smithfield Horse Fair in Dublin in March.
Christy Quilligan, who gave an address at Sundale Drive in Tallaght, is also accused of violent disorder on the day two men were wounded when shots were fired.
Quilligan is the fourth man to be charged in connection with the shooting of two men at Smithfield Horse Fair on March 6.
A third was struck by a slash hook.
The 21-year-old is charged with possession of a .22 calibre Webley Revolver and with violent disorder.
The court heard he gave no reply when charged after caution at the Bridewell garda station.
Bail was refused after gardaí raised concerns as to whether he would show up for his trial.
Quilligan been remanded to appear at Cloverhill District Court later this week.
