Limerick gardaí continue to question man in connection with imprisonment of woman

Gardaí are continuing to question a man arrested in Limerick yesterday on suspicion of false imprisonment and robbery of a woman.

The woman was approached by a man as she got into her car at Colbert railway station and was forced to drive at knifepoint to an ATM machine.

An undisclosed sum of cash was taken.

The suspect is being held at Roxboro Road garda station under section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
