Guinness Storehouse alert a false alarm

A security alert in Dublin city centre has been declared a false alarm.

The Guinness Storehouse off James' Street was evacuated this afternoon after the discovery of a suspicious device.

Gardaí called an Army Bomb Disposal unit to the scene which gave the all clear to re-open the tourist attraction.

The Guinness Storehouse is one of the locations Britain's Queen Elizabeth is due to visit later this month.
