Two men shot in Dublin

Gardaí are investigating two separate shooting incidents in Dublin overnight. One man is in a serious condition in hospital.
The first shooting happened in a laneway off Cappagh Road in Finglas, north Dublin, at 12.50am today.
A 42-year-old man, who suffered a gunshot wound to the upper leg, was taken to Connolly Hospital by ambulance. He was later transferred to the Mater, where his condition is described as serious.
It is understood the man had left a friend's house when the incident occurred.
In a separate incident, a man was shot in the leg in a yard at the back of a pub in Dolphin's Barn in south inner-city Dublin.
He was taken to St James' hospital where his condition is described as not life-threatening.
So far, no arrests have been made.
Gardaí at Kevin Street garda station are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
