Man arrested after body found in Enniscorthy

A man has been arrested in connection with the discovery of a man's body at an apartment complex in Co Wexford.

Gardaí were called to the Springvalley area of Enniscorthy shortly after 8.30am today.

A man in his 30s was detained and taken to Enniscorthy garda station.

He is being held under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act and can be detained for up to 24 hours.

The scene has been preserved for a forensic examination and the state pathologist's office has been notified.
