Man questioned in connection with Offaly drugs haul

Gardaí are continuing to question a man in his 20s who was arrested after the discovery of a cannabis growhouse in Co Offaly yesterday.

Some 400 cannabis plants were seized following a search in Twickenham Estate in Ballycumber.

The seizure is thought to be worth in the region of €160,000.

The man is being detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
