ESB to extend discounts for customers in arrears

ESB Electric Ireland has announced that it will extend its recently introduced range of discounted electricity tariffs to consumers in financial difficulty who are making efforts to clear their debts.

Customers with existing arrears on their ESB Electric Ireland electricity bills or those who are having difficulty in paying for their electricity needs can now avail of a minimum 4% discount by signing up to a Household Budget Price Plan, whereby they commit to an agreed weekly payment via An Post's Household Budget Scheme.
