EBS Building Society reveals €590m loss in 2010

EBS Building Society has recorded a massive pre-tax loss for 2010 of €590m.

This is more than seven times larger than the previous year's shortfall.

The Building Society said it had transferred €836m worth of loans to NAMA at a discount of 60.4% and it expected to transfer another €65m this year.
