The PSNI is appealing for information about a shooting incident in Derry last night.

A 24-year-old man was shot and wounded at a house in the Shantallow area just after 10pm.

Two men entered the house and fired a number of shots at the man. He was hit in the lower leg and is being treated in hospital.
