Two brothers have been remanded in custody after appearing in court in Limerick, charged with threatening to kill three people.

Wayne Dundon of Lenihan Avenue in Ballinacurra Weston, and John Dundon of Hyde Road were before Limerick District Court.

The judge has ordered a full investigation into the finances of Wayne Dundon, who requested free legal aid.

The court heard the accused had been living in England, and has properties in Turkey.

Wayne Dundon is charged with threatening to kill a man on September 30, 2010.

In the case of John Dundon, who is charged with threatening to kill a mother and daughter in Limerick on April 3-4, 2010, reacted angrily in court and began cursing at the judge.
