Fire services to protest in Bray today

A protest is to be held in Bray, Co Wicklow today, by members of the Irish Fire and Emergency Services Association.
The rally will be held in protest at Wicklow County Council's health and safety procedures - protestors argue a system called 'call-vetting' needs to be abolished.
It is in response to the 2007 deaths of two firemen, 26-year-old Mark O'Shaughnessy and 46-year-old father-of-15 Brian Murray, who died during a fire at a warehouse in Bray.
The association says the deaths might have been avoided if the Council had established these policies.
The protest takes place outside Bray Fire Station from 11am this morning.
