Fears grow for missing Sligo man
The brother of a Sligo man missing in Spain says it is totally out of character for him to go missing for such a long period of time.
Eoghan Timoney (aged 36) from Sligo town moved to Spain in August of last year and has been living there with his girlfriend in Aviles in the North Coast where he is working as an English language teacher.
It is understood he went for a walk on Sunday afternoon and when he failed to return his girlfriend reported him missing to the authorities.
A search operation by the Spanish police is underway while, the Spanish Rescue services also launched an investigation yesterday, which is continuing today.
