Businessman Jim Kennedy has appeared in the High Court as part of his legal action to stop his trial on charges of making corrupt payments to politicians for the rezoning of lands in Carrickmines, Dublin in the 1990s.

Businessman Jim Kennedy has appeared in the High Court as part of his legal action to stop his trial on charges of making corrupt payments to politicians for the rezoning of lands in Carrickmines, Dublin in the 1990s.

The case has been put back for five weeks following a request for time by lawyers for the DPP.

A similar review case of corruption charges against former Fine Gael politician Liam Cosgrave of Merrion Park, Blackrock has also been adjourned for five weeks.
