Gardaí are hunting for a gang who took part in a raid on a jeweller's shop in Newcastle West, in Co. Limerick today.

Gardaí are hunting for a gang who carried out a raid on a jeweller's shop in Newcastle West, in Co. Limerick today.

The gang, which is believed to have been armed, parked a white van on the Main St in the town just before 3pm this afternoon before entering the jeweller's, threatening staff and fleeing with an undisclosed number of items of jewellery.
