Kenny seeks end to 'jobs for the boys' culture

Taoiseach Enda Kenny is to take legal advice on overturning Fianna Fail’s controversial appointment of political cronies to State quangos during its final days in office.

It has been claimed that some ex-ministers used their very last day in power before electoral defeat to appoint friends and supporters to jobs with lavish fees and expenses.
