Two women and boy injured in car accident

Two women and a 10-year-old boy have been taken to hospital in a road crash in Co Kilkenny today.

They were travelling in a car which crashed southbound on the M9 just north of the Danesfort Junction at around 2.30pm this afternoon.

A man and two other children were in the car at the time, but escaped injury.

None of the injuries are life-threatening and the road, which was closed for a time, has reopened.
