Ireland set to oppose EU proposal for consolidated corporate tax

A plan for a Common Consolidated Corporate Tax Base is expected to be unveiled by the European Commission later.

The idea is that companies with outlets in many countries would only have to make a single tax return, rather than one for each of those countries.
