Pensioner dies in Co Cork road accident
A pedestrian has died after a crash in Dromore, County Cork.
The 80-year-old man was struck by a car as he crossed the road at Dromahane Cross at 9.30pm last night.
He was taken to Cork University Hospital where he died in the early hours of this morning.
It brings to three the number of pedestrians that have died so far this weekend following collisions in counties Roscommon and Derry yesterday.
