Patrons launch Grow It Yourself week
Grow It Yourself week begins today with a variety of activities for anyone interested in learning about growing their own vegetables.
GIY patrons like Clodagh McKenna and Joy Larkcom are hosting a number of events such as a visit to the OPW's Victorian Walled Garden in the Phoenix Park and planting demonstrations.
Sarah Fleming, the Events and Marketing Manager at GIY, said they hope people will be inspired to take a pledge to grow their own.
