'Miracle nobody killed' at Smithfield horse fair: DSPCA

The Dublin SPCA has said today's Smithfield Market horse fair poses a major health and safety risk for the animals involved and members of the public.

The animal welfare organisation is calling for the traditional fair to be suspended following the announcement that Dublin City Council construction works will halve the space available for the event.
