Man found seriously injured in Limerick

An investigation is underway after a man was found with serious injuries in Limerick City.

Gardaí were called to a fire on Mary Street at around 1.30am this morning.

On their arrival at the house officers found the man, said to be in his late 20s or early 30s.

He was rushed to Limerick Regional Hospital, where his condition is being described as serious.
