Report: Kenny contacted Gilmore last night

It has been reported that Fine Gael contacted Labour about forming a new Government last night.

The Fine Gael leader Enda Kenny was said to have left a message for Eamon Gilmore about cutting a deal to set up the new Government. Talks on the formation of a new Government are expected to get underway formally later.
