Libyan security stops Air Corps from taking Irish nationals

Efforts to evacuate up to 70 Irish nationals who are trying to flee the violence in Libya will continue today.

Last night, the Irish Air Corps failed in their attempt to rescue Irish citizens, after Libyan security prevented them from picking up passengers at Tripoli airport.
