Man for court in connection with Donegal robbery

A man is to appear in court in Sligo later today charged in connection with an armed robbery at a filling station in Donegal over the weekend.

Kee's Filling Station in Laghey was raided at around 11pm on Saturday night by a man wearing a disguise who was armed with a handgun.

The shop attendant was forced to hand over a sum of cash.

A man was later arrested in Donegal town - the cash was recovered and an imitation firearm was seized.
