Flood warnings issued for Cork and Limerick

A number of flood warnings have been put in place for this weekend.

Householders and businesses in Cork City are being advised to take the necessary measures to protect their properties.

A precautionary flood alert has been put in place, valid during high tide tomorrow and on Sunday.

Meanwhile, council workers have been installing flood barriers along the city quays in Limerick in anticipation of flooding between now and Monday.
