Brothers granted bail over firearms offences
Two Dublin brothers charged with firearm offences have been granted bail at the Special Criminal Court.
Brian Walsh (aged 24) of Harmonstown Road in Artane was charged with the unlawful possession of firearms and ammunition.
His brother John Walsh - who is 23 and also lives on Harmonstown Road - was charged with the unlawful possession of three Walther 9mm pistols and three magazines suitable for use with the pistols.
The two were granted bail on condition they observe a curfew between the hours of 11pm and 7am, sign on daily at Raheny Garda Station and reside only at their home address.
They also have to surrender their passports and provide the gardaí with a mobile phone number that they can be contacted on.
