Fine Gael leader Enda Kenny has told Germany's Chancellor Angela Merkel that he would not raise Ireland's corporation tax rate if he is in government after the election.

Today's meeting between Mr Kenny and Chancellor Merkel has been criticised by Mr Kenny's political opponents as merely a "photo opportunity" in the middle of the election campaign.
