Shatter: Cowen must go to Gardaí about FitzPatrick contact

Fine Gael is calling on the Fianna Fáil leader Micheál Martin to state if the Taoiseach should go to Gardaí and make a statement about the phone call he had with Seán FitzPatrick nearly three years ago.

Justice Spokesman Alan Shatter made the call as he outlined election promises to bring rogue bankers to account if Fine Gael is elected to Government.
