Sinn Féin Vice-President Mary Lou McDonald has said Mícheál Martin’s refusal to give up his €90,000 Minister’s severance package shows that Fianna Fáil are no more interested in political reform “than the man on the moon”.

“If Mícheál Martin wanted to really show new leadership while ordinary workers are losing their jobs, the first thing he could do is surrender his ministerial severance package,” Ms McDonald said.
