Pair questioned after Kilkenny drugs find

Gardaí in Kilkenny are today questioning two men in connection with a drug seizure.

Cannabis resin, worth around €650,000, was found when gardaí stopped a truck and a car near Castlecomer at around 7.30pm last night.

Two men, aged in their late 40s, were arrested.

They are being detained under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act 1996 at Carlow garda station.
