Three held in anti-terror raid

Two men and one woman were arrested tonight after three handguns were recovered during a raid on suspected dissident republicans.

Anti-terrorist officers searched a house on Harmonstown Road on Dublin’s north side where the weapons were found.

The three suspects, all aged in their 20s, were taken in for questioning under the Offences Against the State Act.

They were being questioned in Blackrock garda station.

A Garda spokesman said investigations were ongoing.
