No agreement at Aer Lingus talks
Talks between Aer Lingus and its cabin crew were adjourned without agreement last night.
The industrial dispute escalated this week with 288 cabin crew being taken off the payroll and a number of planes cancelled every day.
The cost of the dispute to the airline is thought to be up to €400,000 per day with Aer Lingus having to purchase flights on rival Ryanair flights where possible.
It is said that a deep gulf still remains between the two parties and it may be some time before the issues are resolved.
