40 Donegal bakery jobs 'may be saved'

There is hope this evening that 40 of the 124 jobs lost at Gallagher's Bakery in Co Donegal this week can be saved, after management at the company met the board of Údarás na Gaeltachta.

The company has said it is willing to facilitate the transfer of the fresh-baked products business and its assets to a new owner.
