Cabin crew at Aer Lingus who continue to refuse to operate new rostering arrangements could lose their jobs.

The company has confirmed that it will be writing to cabin crew inviting them to sign an undertaking to comply with new rosters.

If they refuse to do so, they will be informed that they are entering into a process which could ultimately result in their removal from the company and replacement.

Almost 300 cabin crew who are members of the union IMPACT this morning marched round Dublin Airport before handing in a letter to Aer Lingus chief Executive Christoph Mueller saying they were ready to work.

Impact Spokesman Niall Shanahan said the airline "is using heavy-handed tactics unnecessarily".
