FG's Allen declares intention not to seek re-election

The chairman of the Public Accounts Committee, Bernard Allen, has announced that he will not seek re-election to the Dáil.

The 66-year-old was first elected for Cork North Central in 1981, and has held the seat for Fine Gael since.
