CPSU: Croke Park deal must be delivered before reorganisation
The General Secretary of the union that represents lower paid civil servants has said the Croke Park deal must be in place if the public service is to be re-organised.
Blair Horan of the Civil and Public Services Union made the comments after the Finance Minister Brian Lenihan said yesterday in the Dáil that if the planned savings under the agreement were not achieved, public servants pay will have to be cut.
Mr Horan said he is confident the commitments that have been made will be delivered.
