Court extends detention for six in double murder case
Gardaí have been allowed to question for a further 72 hours, six out of eight people arrested in connection with the murders of a couple in Limerick last Sunday.
Chief Superintendent David Sheahan told Limerick District Court that more time was needed to interview the six suspects, including three men and three women.
The court heard 100 Gardaí were working on the case and that more than 500 people have been interviewed and a total of nine arrests made.
