Second crash kills another man in Kildare

Two people have been killed in separate road crashes in Co. Kildare.

One man in his mid-50's died after being hit by a car, while he was walking on the Kildangan Road in Kildare Town.

It happened at 7.30am this morning.

Meanwhile, investigations are continuing into a crash on the outskirts of Castledermot last night, in which a 32-year-old man died.

Both roads will remain closed for the next few hours.
