A twin-track investigation into the North's burst pipes crisis will begin today.

The two-stranded probe will examine the response of both government-owned agency Northern Ireland Water, whose chief executive Laurence Mackenzie has already resigned, and the Stormont minister with overriding responsibility, Conor Murphy.
