Kerry Airport looks to reduce staff by one third
Kerry Airport has announced it is seeking 20 redundancies from its staff of 65.
The redundancies will be effective from February 4.
The Chairman of Kerry Airport said the redundancies were necessary to safeguard the airport and to protect the remaining jobs.
Denis Cregan blamed the job losses on passenger reductions on the Dublin route and the decision of Ryanair to discontinue several of its Dublin-Kerry flights.
