Salt delivery set for Thursday

The Port of Cork said today that it is expecting 6,300 tonnes of salt to arrive in early on Thursday morning.

More than 100 trucks will be on hand at the port to deliver the salt to locations around the country.

Cork Port says it expects a total of 15,000 tonnes to arrive into the port during the Christmas period.
