Dáil to vote on EU/IMF deal amid protests

A crucial vote will take place in the Dáil today on the €85bn rescue deal from the International Monetary Fund and European Union.

At the weekend, the Government Chief Whip John Curran called on Fine Gael to back the package in the national interest.
