Gardaí recover €1m worth of stolen plant machinery

Gardaí and members of the National Bureau of Criminal Investigation have recovered €1m worth of stolen plant machinery.

The operation was carried out at 8pm last night at warehouses near Balbriggan Co Dublin and recovered 15 tractors, excavators and mini telescopic cranes.

Gardaí from Laytown, Co Meath, believe that some of the recovered machinery was stolen in England this year.

No arrests have been made and investigations are continuing.
