More disruption to Galway water supply

Disruption to water supplies in parts of Galway City are continuing today because of the big freeze.
Galway City Council says parts of Rahoon are without supply and there is low pressure in a number of other areas.
Council staff will be setting up standpipes in Claremont in Rahoon this afternoon but the council is asking people to continue to conserve water.
It has repaired three major leaks on Monday and is dealing with four other leaks in Shantalla, Taylor's Hill and Salthill.
Meanwhile, the council said that it is continuing to grit main roads around the city during the cold snap.
