Limerick man in critical condition following overnight stabbing

A man in his 30s is in a critical condition in hospital after he was stabbed a number of times in Limerick overnight.

The man sustained the stab wounds when he was attacked at Altamira Terrace in Thomondgate shortly after 10pm last night.

Two teenagers have been arrested and are being held at Henry Street Garda Station.

Gardaí at Mayorstone are appealing witnesses.
