O'Connor urges public sector workers to join rally

Public sector workers were tonight called on to join a mass rally after Government announced plans to cull almost 25,000 staff.

Drastic proposals cut public sector pay by €1.2bn will see veteran workers pitted against newly recruited civil servants earning 10% less.
