Boy (16) sent for trial over €55k drugs haul

A 16-year-old boy was served with a book of evidence today and sent forward for trial over a seizure of €55,000 worth of cocaine.

The west Dublin boy has been charged at the Children's Court with possessing cocaine for sale or supply, at his home address and at another location nearby, on date in January last. The teen had been abusing cannabis at the time and “he ran into debt,” the court had heard.
