Amnesty welcomes Suu Kyi's release

Amnesty International has welcomed the release of Aung San Suu Kyi.

Colm O’Gorman, executive director of Amnesty International Ireland, said she is "an inspiration to a generation of human rights activists" who have worked so hard to ensure her case was never forgotten.
