Bernard McNamara company 'ceases all work'

It is understood that a flagship company owned by the developer Bernard McNamara has ceased work on all its current projects.

Among the developments is Letterkenny Hospital.

Newstalk radio is reporting that high-level talks between NAMA and Mr McNamara have been taking place all week.

McNamara is believed to have overall debts of €1.5bn.
