EU aid has been approved for 850 former workers at SR Technics who were made redundant in 2009.

EU aid has been approved for 850 former workers at SR Technics who were made redundant in 2009.

The European Parliament has today given the green light to release €7.4m from the EU's Globalisation Adjustment Fund.

It was set up to provide additional support for employees who lose their jobs through globalisation or the financial crisis.

SR Technics is one of the world's leading providers of technical solutions to airlines.
